Severe deprivation of liberty in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine during the Russian occupation

On March 2, 2022, ICC Prosecutor Karim A. A. Khan announced the opening of an investigation into the Situation in Ukraine from November 21, 2013, onwards, thereby encompassing within its scope any past and present allegations of war crimes, crimes against humanity or genocide within the meaning of the Rome Statute committed on any part of the territory of Ukraine by any person.
